First Workshop!

Today, October 11th, 2025, Joyce, Sasha, and Alyssa held their first ever crochet workshop. Over 20 people showed up!

All of the participants learned the foundation of crocheting which included how to hold the yarn and hook, chain stitch, and single crochet. Some got to the magic ring and even the project (a cat).

Behind the camera, Alyssa captured the wonderful moments of laughter and learning at the Mountain View library. Sasha handled a massive group of children and used her Russian to connect to even more people. Joyce ran from child to child, helping them with their stitches, but at the end of the workshop, she was running from crocheter to crocheter.
