At Crochet Circle, we come together to create and donate handmade plushies to children and organizations in need, spreading warmth, comfort, and joy through every piece we craft. Along the way, we raise awareness about the importance of mental health in children, using creativity as a tool for connection and healing. As a member, you’ll have the opportunity to share your creations, learn from others, and grow not just as a crocheter, but as a compassionate individual committed to making the world a little softer.
Volunteering w/ CC
Are you a crocheter? Do you need volunteer hours? Do you want to achieve that while doing the thing you love and impact the community? If yes, join us by volunteering with Crochet Circle!
Crochet a Plushie. Make an Impact.
This volunteer opportunity is dedicated to crocheters.
Step 1: Crochet
Take a look at all of our crochet patterns or find some on your own. The next step is easy: crochet! Please make sure your plushies are made with care and that they do not contain any dangerous pieces or offensive symbols.
Step 2: Submit Form
Now, submit a google form to claim your volunteering hours and for us to confirm that your submission fulfills our requirements. Once the form is submitted, we will email you the mailing address to which you can send your plushie.
Step 3: Mail
Once you receive the mailing address, proceed to send us your plushie in a box. When we receive your plushie, we will send you a confirmation email giving you your community service hours. We will also notify you when we donate your plushie!
Write a Card. Spread Joy.
This volunteer opportunity is dedicated to anyone.
Step 1: Download and Write
Download our letter template and import the pdf to canva.com or any other digital platform. Now, write a sweet and simple note. Add stickers and other decor that express positivity. The card should be thoughtful and contain no profanity, offensive language or images. The note should apply to all children!
Step 2: Check
Before you submit your digital card, make sure you have followed all of the steps. Your volunteer hours will not be approved if any steps listed in Step 1 is not fulfilled. Take a look at the sample below. Your card should embody similar themes and positivity. Make sure your quotes can apply to any child who wants to feel happy.
Step 3: Submit Form
Once you have accomplished steps 1 and 2, you may proceed to the last step: submitting a google form to send us your card and claim your volunteering hours. Once we receive your submission and confirm that it fits our standards, we will notify you with a confirmation email and official volunteering hours. You will be notified when your card will be given to a child in need!
Become a Teacher.
This volunteer opportunity is dedicated to crocheters.
Step 1: Read Description
If you are interested in teaching crochet, we have an opportunity for you! You can apply as a teacher for Crochet Circle, meaning that you will be notified about upcoming events and invited to teach there. This will give you community service hours, as well as a chance to use your crochet skills to teach others!
Step 2: Submit Form
You may now proceed to the second step: submitting a google form to apply for the teaching role. Once we receive your submission and confirm that it fits our standards, we will notify your email with a confirmation and add you to our mailing list in order for you to know about all our events.
Step 3: Orientation
Now that you have submitted the form, all you have to do is wait to be notified about the mandatory online orientation. This meeting will partake with the one of the members or more on CC Team. It will go over all of the stitches and processes of how to teach the students.
